- GPIO : It has 40 pins and this model A+ can compatable with Hat standard for more add on boards.
- SD : It has a nice push-push micro SD version.

As said above, the Raspberry pi released the B+ in UK with the help of Sony company and now this model A+, you can buy from Farnel in UK and MCM in USA. And more importantly it is very simple and cheap, I.e, of $20.
