Now Twitter will track which apps you use on your phone

Twitter is also a one of the social networking site. Many professionals, researchers and even students also using this network. Of course, many cine stars are using this network now-a-days.

Recently so many changes are made to this Twitter like.... Search any tweet publicly and even send or follow the persons to whom you want. As like this Twitter made a statement that, they are collecting the information of apps installed on your mobile phone...

What is app graph on twitter....???

To help build a more personal Twitter experience for you, Twitter collecting and occasionally updating the list of apps installed on your mobile phone. So, they can deliver tailored content that you might be interested in.



If you're not interested in tailored experience, you can adust your preferences at any time. Additionally if you're Perviously opted out of interest based ads by turning on " limit Ad tracking " on your iOS device or by adjusting your android device settings to " opt out of interest based ads ", Twitter will not collect your apps unless you adjust your device settings.

What data is Twitter collecting.....????

They are collecting only the list of applications you've installed. They are not collecting data with in the applications.

Some of the improvements they made are.....?????

  • Improved " who to follow " suggestions that share similar interests. 
  • Adding tweet, accounts or other content to your timeline.
  • Showing you more relevant promoted content.
How to turn on or off.....????

They'll notify you about this feature being turned on for your account by showing a prompt letting you know that " to help tailored your experience, twitter use the apps on your device ", this setting is turned off and Twitter is not collecting a list of your apps.

Once you turned off the setting ... Twitter will clear the app graph data and stop future collection.

How to use for android....????
  • Tap the overflow icon
  • Tap settings
  • Tap the account you'd like to adjust.
  • Under other, you can adjust the setting to tailor the Twitter based on my apps.
How to use for iOS.....?????
  • From the Me tab, tap the gear icon.
  • Tap settings
  • Tap the account you'd like to adjust
  • Under privacy, you can adjust the setting to tailor the Twitter based on my apps.
