Train accidents can be reduced by using Laser technique

Of course, we are ahead of technology on railway systems like speed trains, metro and bullet trains. But, accidents became very common now-a-days.

For these accidents, the reasons may be so many. But, compare to all those reasons, mainly accidents are occurring due to fallen leaves and waste on railway tracks.

To solve this problem, Dutch government invented new technology. Interesting right... ???? Let's see...

What's the solution....????

Lasers are being tested as a way of clearing the path for high speed trains. This fallen leaves are the dangerous problem in European and North American countries.

4.5 million hours of passenger delays in 2013. Last month, Dutch railways began trails to zap leaves into amnesty with lasers. Angled downwards are fitted just in front of a wheel, the lasers vaporise built up residue as the train passes.

They also dry the rails to prevent new leaves from pilling up. This gives better traction, allowing faster acceleration and bracking.

When this idea proposed...???

Using lasers to clear leaves was first proposed on 1999 by UK company called Laser Thor, which developed a laser with temperature of 5000°C that was strong enough to zap leaves 25,000 times per second.

According to Malcolom Higgins, the founder of laser thor, who is also an advisor for the Dutch project, lasers will not damage the tracks.

Advantage of using laser :

Because of wavelength 1064nm the track will not effect. I mean they are absorbed by the leaves and other organic matter such as oil, but not by metal, so energy from lasers is reflected off the the rails.

My idea :

In my view, if we use water for cleaning tracks. It can also may be beneficiary. I mean, if the trains split water when it is travelling....

So, by this technique, we can solve the problems. If this technique used all over the world, most of the accidents can be solved and also delays can be solved.

Add more story or any ideas... Comment below... And also say about my idea also...
