High-Tech Glove could help the deaf-blind people send text messages

History says that, there is a Braili format which is used to educate or to understand the messages or to write something for others. But, now we are in technological world. So, we have to give them a certain less efforts to deliver or to send information easily to other people. So, let's see the history and latest technologies for the deaf-blind people..

Earlier :

In German-speaking countries, deaf-blind people use a " tactile alphabet " called "Lorm" to communicate with one another, which involves a series of motions on the hand.

Problems with Lorm :

Problem with Lorm, though, is that few people understand it. This means that people who are both deaf and blind are often limited to communicating with others who understand Lorm.

So, in order to reduce this problems, scientists invented a new technology. So, let's see what it is...

What's the new technology...???

New technology aims to help them communicate more easily with people who don't understand Lorm. Researchers in Berlin are developing in mobile Lorm Glove, with which deaf-blind people can transmit Lorm to text on a computer or mobile device.

Working of Hand Gloves :

A deaf-blind people can run his/her fingers across sensors on the glove's palm, just as she would on a normal hand. The sensors pick up on the Lorm and then translate those tactile motions into text.

The communication is then sent as a text message to receivers smart phone, For example : The transmitting occurs via Bluetooth.

Conversely, the receiver can then send a message back to the glove. It works just like a normal text message, but there are small vibrating motors on the back of the glove.

The text is then translated in Lorm and communicated via vibrations.

The mobile Lorm Glove could allow deaf-blind people to make more connections and communicate with more than one person at a time.

Final Words....!!!

The Glove is still a prototype but has already had practical applications in the real world. May be it'll be soon in the manufacturing process.

Facebook messenger will let you transfer money to others

Most of the people irrespective of ages, people are using Facebook for a long time. Of course, Facebook forced to use messenger to chat with other people. It's the other way. But, Mark Zuckerberg gave a good chance for you to transfer money from messenger. Surprised right....??? So, let's see, how to use and the safety measures to be taken while transferring money.

Facebook users can now send money to another through the company's standalone messaging app, messenger.

How to use it...???

Users can tie their debit card to their Facebook in order to pass money through messenger. The messenger app now includes a small " $ " icon above the keyboard which opens a payments screen where users can type the amount they wish to send.

What the Facebook is doing for you...???

The money is then transferred through Facebook, which holds the money for " seconds " before sending it along to the other user's bank, according to the Facebook product manager Steve Davis. If the recipient doesn't have a card attached to his or her account, Facebook will hold money until they've set one up.

Competitors :

As Facebook is recently added this transferring money feature, other companies like Venmo, Square and even Snapchat which is started recently in November, last year are all became a competitors for Facebook. But, as the Facebook is a high social network, no one beats this company.

Steve Davis Words :

He is the product manager in Facebook. He said, " we realized that there were all these conversations ( on messenger ) that were forced to go somewhere else in order to actually finish it. You've to go another platform to actually pay another person ".

Database :

To handle the actual money transfers, Facebook built its entire system in house. That means that debit card info will be housed on Facebook Servers.

The company has stored data like this for years already when people pay for games or gifts through the platform.

Safety measures :

You know already that, hackers are easily finding victims passwords to retrieve the online banking password and gaining their money.

But, Facebook did add extra safety for messenger payments : A user PIN or TOUCH ID, if the user is on the iPhone, no payment can be sent without that PIN, which the user will create when they set up their account ( or with the thumbprint scan ).

Why this is introduced in Facebook...???

May be you think that, Zuckerberg is going to take money ( tax ) from you. But, No transaction fee to pass money to another user. To manage this transactions, Facebook hired " David Marcus ", from the PayPal's company.
Facebook is just providing the need for you to transfer money to others.

Final Words :

I hope you understand all these process, but you've to be careful while sending the Money to other people ( typing correct transaction, adding your card, etc..., ) So, from now don't reveal your Facebook password. It is risk for your life..

NASA says how rain and snow travel across the globe

I know everyone has a dream of watching clouds and rain from your home, right...??? If so, your dream will come true now. Because, NASA says how rain and snow travel across the globe. So, let's see how we can see the rain and snow.

NASA news :

NASA released visualization of storm swirls that took place in 2004.

NASA's " Global precipitation Measurement Core Observatory " (GMP), a satellite network that provides near real time precipitation data covering the entire planet.

How this video helpful :

The video shown is going to help save lives. It tells you " which coastlines to evacuate ".

For example, if you saw that more clouds are gathering at a certain place, you may understand that more rain will fall there. Then, result is floods. People will definitely lost their money, pets and sometimes even lives.

So, by watching clouds before rain will helpful to you to predict that disaster. Then, automatically you can warn the people who are living there and you can send people to a safe place...

Gail Skofronick - Jackson :

He is the GMP project scientist at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center.

He said, " GMP sees globally, so you can start to track the hurricane and cyclones and know which coastlines to evacuate " . He said these words in NASA briefing today article.

Duration :

The GMP gathers the data every 30 minutes. As, NASA says how we can see the rain and snow travel across the globe, we can get data easily and with in a short span of delay. So, no way to occurrence of disaster.

Idea :

Nasa says, " it can be used to develop rainfall accumulation maps ". So, you can point out, the place easily and you can ring the emergency bell.

Places you can watch :

You can watch the place with pretty fun also like, precipitation in the USA as it turns to snow in Canada or watch rain move from west south Africa to South America, etc...,.

" This view from space has given us an ability to see the entire globe in multiple dimensions ", Jackson said.

Watch video :

As you read up to now how these are using theoretically. Now, watch the video, you can get more knowledge how the clouds are moving or going from one region to another region..

Watch video here,  Nasa says how rain and snow travel across the globe

Final Words :

With the GMP, we can watch the rain and snow travel across the globe. Not even depend on the disaster intimation centers.

You can not only save your life, but also a nation can save from those disasters..
