Google Drive is the cloud storage platform operated by Google. Google Drive was announced early in the 2013 as a replacement for Google bropbox and box. And this is for competitor to the other boxes also. Originally launching as a stand alone data silo with 5GB of free storage, Google drive has extended it to storage backbone for Google docs, gmail services offering up to 15GB of total storage for different apps.
This Google drive for mobile users can synch all your sign in accounts and gives up-to-date news. This is deeply integrated with the chrome OS which looks like desktop version.
Those who buy a new chromebook can get the 500GB free storage for two years. But many phone manufacturers give free 50GB of storage and if you want extra can get cheaply than other providers.
Google Docs, sheets and presentation are broken out with Google drive. But if you need to open a file with seperate sheets, presentation apps and you could only view document via drive.
Now Google want to add this Google drive with chrome browser application. By this, you can open the stored files in Google can be a directly to a compatible Desktop version.
