Universe....!!!! Total world want to break the mystery behind this. Even the scientists and researchers from every corner of the world making different types and with different applications to see what's going on in the universe or any particular planet. The major space stations like NASA and ISRO etc.... are eagarly doing the projects about the study of universe.
To watch the things going on in the universe, space stations sending rockets with different satellites, machine and even people. So, people who are going to universe in rockets should have dare and knowledge about planets.
So, it may lead to lot of cost, knowledge people etc... But, can we do that research from here....???? Without even go to the other planets....???? Think of it....???
Yes, we can do. How...??? Total 15 countries are going to sign on a wonderful project which will show you the universe. This is the ESO's project. So, let's see the story about the project which is going to change the mystery of universe.
ESO's project :
At the recent meetings, ESO's showed a green flag to the construction of EUROPE EXTREMELY LARGE TELESCOPE ( E -ELT ).
Eso is currently planning the 39mt E - ELT which will become " the world's largest eye on the sky "
This project divided into 2 phases.
#phase 1 :
In phase 1, they are spending 1 billion Euros. Their main theme is to complete the working of telescope fully with in 10 years time. This project will enable tremendous scientific discoveries. And the main structure will complete with in next year.
Project shape and location :
E - ELT is a 39mt aperture optical and infrared telescope sited on cerro Armazones in the Chilean Atacama desert, 20km from ESO's very large telescope on Cero paranal. It scientifically named as " EYE ON THE SKY ".
" This project will be exciting by the next few years ", said by Tim de Zeeuw, ESO's director general.
E - ELT construction approved by ESO's council in June, 2012. This project will cost around 1083 million Euros of 2012 prices.
#phase 2 :
10% of the project is shifted to 2nd phase. To prevent project from fail, ESO decided to construct 39mt can now proceed.

- Adaptive optics system
- Inner most five rings of segments of the telescopes main mirror.
- 210 mirror segments
- Spare set of primary mirror segments.
Votes :
To approved this project there has to be get 14 votes. Out of 14, 11 votes are obtained. Remaining 3 votes are " ad referendum votes ".
About ESO :
ESO is the foremost intergovernmental astronomy organization in Europe and the world's most productive grounded - based austromical observatory.
Supported countries for this Mega project :
There are almost 15 countries who are supporting this project. They are:
- Austria
- Belgium
- Brazil
- Czech
- Denmark
- France
- Finland
- Germany
- Italy
- Netherlands
- Portugal
- Spain
- Sweden
- Switzerland
- United kingdom
Let's hope this will success and we can see universe by the next few years. If it get success then no need of investing on rockets and astronauts. We can save our world. And break the mystery about the universe like big bang theory......
